I was raised an Episcopalian, have been Neopagan off and on since I was thirteen and read The Spiral Dance, discovered Druidry in my early twenties, went back to the Church, left it again when the Anglican Communion began to implode, eventually discovered Tibetan Buddhism while studying hermetic magic, took refuge, and then went hankering off after Feri Witchcraft. I’ve started describing my practice as Eclectic Mahayana with a side of Magic. But I’ve been a writer since first grade, so my blog might be worth reading. I also like birds.

limiting ourselves to one Label serve nothing, the one which is one the Path needs no Label. all the ways leads to same ocean. those “religiuos” helps in constracting a way but as Zen suggest they can only point the way.. from the end of the finger we must walk ourselves.
you have very intersting blog here and i was happy reading through it.
i shall come again to visit.
I am so happy to have found your blog!! I have been deeply interested and involved in both Buddhism and Pagan life and have often wondered if there was anyone like me who is (or has in your case) struggled to reconcile the two religions- which seem to be at cross purposes with each other, and have extremely differing theological underpinnings. I have not pursued seriously Tibetan Buddhism (which I have heard is the Roman Catholicism of the Buddhist world), but you seem to have done this. I just love the grounding in natural systems of teh pagans and the clarity of the buddhists. I also love poetry and philosophy in general. I hope to learn from you.
Urban Druid,
I think I like your blog. as long as there is no devil worshipping going on.
I like Buddhism. It fits me, kinda like a familiar sweater that I can wear around the house and keep the chill away.
I was raised Catholic, but please don’t hold that against me. I find there are many pagan lessons the Church had incorporated into its lexicon, claiming it created them, when just a brief view of history shows the source was cultivated elsewhere.
Pagan. Haven’t used that term since grade school when the nuns wanted us to contribute to helping to save the “poor pagan babies” somewhere outside of mainland USA.
I guess there is a whole new world out there where Druids can help enlightened the rest of us.
Keep me posted. I am open to new ideas!

How lovely to read a blog that is well-written, correctly spelled, and does not once create a plural by adding an apostrophe-s. How much more lovely that you say nice things about my books in this rare prose.
I’ve very much enjoyed reading your posts, and I delight in your search. Best wishes.
