About the blogger

I was baptized Methodist and confirmed Episcopalian; I’ve been a generic Neopagan, a Druid, and a Tibetan Buddhist; I’ve studied and trained in various forms of the Western magical tradition. I also started college at age twelve, have two master’s degrees, got married nearly twenty years ago, and discovered a deep connection with birds when my husband and I brought two little exotic finches into our home and named them Hildegard and Alexander. Besides the above, I work for the city’s public library, read a lot, listen to early music, and watch Star Trek, Doctor Who, Merlin, and a lot of science fiction.

What’s here? What I’m reading, watching, listening to, and thinking about, and my responses, in writing.

All philosophy should be practical, if it is not, then the person has gone wrong.
